"Through the bedroom window, we saw a bright round shining object stationary at a height of some 10 metres or so above the birch trees to the east... it was now immediately quite clear to me that I was looking at an unknown flying object... we could see its shape absolutely clearly." Two Jefferson County air unit police officers — described by their lieutenant as "solid guys" — swear they had a two-minute dogfight with a UFO during a routine helicopter patrol Friday night. Two officers on the ground said they, too, spotted the object. The UFO — a glowing pear-shaped object about the size of a basketball — literally flew circles around the helicopter, even though the fliers say they were moving at speeds approaching 100 mph. And a cab driver witnessed a UFO with 10 porthole-type lights. View full report
Three people were on a beach at Almunécar, in South Spain, at around 2 a.m., when they saw a triangular flying object, with a kind of bright "V" ( 2 of them) in the direction on the flight - just like two boomerangs fliying one behind each other, with the peak fordwards. It flew over their heads, without a sound, and disappeared with a "shining". The sighting lasted for about 10 seconds. View full report
From the witness: "We watched it hover for around five minutes. It was then that we noticed that the 'craft' wasn't making any noise. Normally, if it was a helicopter, we would have heard the blades. It then turned around and faced our direction. At the point of the photograph, it was about 200 to 300 feet directly above us. It was then that we heard the light 'pulsing hum' of the object." A soundless flying triangle was observed near Hamburg, by the amateur astronomer Gutschke when he looked at the sky to observe the stars. The 70 meters long triangle was surrounded by a luminous dust. In the three corners there were pinkish luminous rings. The altitude was approximately 300 meters. In about 8 seconds the triangle moved from the zenith to the horizon, in the direction of the city of Hamburg, where it vanished in the dust. View full report
