Mass sighting of large jellyfish-like UFO over Petrosavodsk, USSR
September, 20, 1977 - Petrosavodsk, Russian Federation
Early risers in Petrosavodsk saw a bright light suddenly appearing amid the clouds at about 4:05 a.m. The star-like light came nearer and descended in a spiral trajectory, and soon looked like a ball of fire. Soon, it looked like an reddish-orange hemisphere surrounded by a bright zone. During the next few seconds, hundreds of thin rays of light, like thin arrows, were showered upon the earth. Mrs. Ethel May Field, 62, a housewife, had gone out to the back garden to take in washing from the clothes-line, when she heard a humming sound which prompted her to look at the sky. Cigar-shaped UFO with smaller objects observed in Jemgum, Germany
March, 7, 1977 - Jemgum, Germany
A 16 year old student, standing in front of his parents house, observed a bright spot in the sky. Through his binoculars, he could see that the object was cigar-shaped and surrounded by an orange-colored halo. This object filled 4/5 of his field-of-view in the binoculars. UFO with occupants approaches witness and hovers over farm
June, 14, 1974 - Medellin, Spain
Santiago Pulido Romero, 46, was going to his father's farm when he saw an object flying at low level. It was "round on the bottom and with a sort of cone-shaped tower on top." When he switched his car lights on, the object came towards him at very high speed, only to move away from he turned out the lights. Inside the craft, Santiago could see three tall men, "who seemed to be holding on to some sort of control levers" and wearing helmets. View full report

Christer Sundström was lying in his bed, home from school with chickenpox. He was looking out the window of his room towards the neighbour's house. All he could see was a dark grey sky. Huge ship and three smaller craft seen by salesman in Spain

A pocketbook salesman, Adrian Sanchez Sanchez, was making the rounds of his customers, when he encountered an airship of gigantic proportions, which he calculated to be between 150 and 200 metres long. "I noticed how a large door opened in the tail end of the ship and how a formation of three smaller ships, in the shape of yo-yos, approximately 8 metres long, proceded to enter the larger one; but the last one turned and came slowly towards me." I as working in a multistory office block in St Mary Cray, Kent, England. Looking out of the window on the 4th or 5th floor, I saw a stationary light in the sky above the houses in the Petts Wood direction. It looked like a metallic oval disc but quite small. View full report

Egg-shaped UFO seen from mountain lodge, reacts to firing of signal flare
December, 10, 1973 - Hochries Mountain, Germany
Mr. L., the proprietor of an Alpine lodge on Hochries mountain in Germany, along with the caretaker, noticed a red light on the top of the mountain. Mr. L. fired a red flare signal rocket in the direction of the unidentified object. Soon after, the object started to shine in a much brighter red color and rose-up slowly in the air. It moved in the direction of the Hochries-lodge, and the witnesses now recognized that the object was egg-shaped. View full report
