A 16 year old student, standing in front of his parents house, observed a bright spot in the sky. Through his binoculars, he could see that the object was cigar-shaped and surrounded by an orange-colored halo. This object filled 4/5 of his field-of-view in the binoculars. Madison County Sheriff's Deputy Kenneth Creel and Constable James Luke were on a routine patrol drive when they witnessed a 30 to 40 foot UFO which approached them at close range. "It sat in one place in midair for approximately 45 minutes. It had a red light on top and green on the bottom. The position of these lights changed. In August of 1976, four young art students in their early twenties left for a canoe and camping trip in Maine's Allagash Wilderness. On one night during the trip, they encountered a huge oval, glowing object rising above the trees nearby, and were soon engulfed in a beam of light from the craft. Several people witnessed a strange object over the wilderness in Walvish Bay, Namibia, Africa. This same object was also seen one month earlier. Fourteen young hikers of Camp Delaware, including a 24-year-old counselor, said they encountered a whining, saucer-shaped object during an afternoon hike on the 1,460-foot Blueberry Hill. Five boys were camping in a forest valley, when at around 11 p.m. one of the boys glimpsed a bright, glowing bell-shaped object traveling at fantastic speed in an east-to-west direction. At ten A.M. when they were less than fifty kilometers from Passo Fondo, da Silva spotted a silver metallic spherical object resembling the planet Saturn, replete with ring. They estimated the object which had a "brushed metal" surface to be six to eight meters (twenty to twenty six feet) in diameter. View full report
On January 6, 1976, three women were abducted near Stanford, Kentucky. As they were driving together to have dinner, a bright red object appeared in the sky, which Mona Stafford at first thought was an airplane on fire. Two men sighted two UFOs at Lake Sorell in Tasmania. "It was about 2-1/2 miles away when we saw it move - and then it was right there only about 1,000 yards away and 500 feet above the lake." Young Japanese schoolchildren watched a UFO touched down on February 23, 1975. The landing took place near Kofu City, Yamanshi Prefecture, Japan. An occupant allegedly emerged and touched one child on the shoulder, temporarily paralyzing him. The occupant then walked around the craft and reboarded. The boys, in hysterics, ran home to their parents, who observed a large, orange-red light hovering over the vineyard. View full report

It had lights on each end and in the middle with blue square lights all across the back end of the wings.... We noticed that there was absolutely no sound at all and that it didn't fluctuate or "flutter" and that it just floated in the air. We saw structure, that is we saw the body of the vehicle. "It was less than 100 yards away and about 200-300 feet up, and they could see through the red halo as the bright light "had been swung away" from them. Like a large hamburger bun, the color of "dirty brass" it had a base of about 25 feet, then an outer flange. The diameter of the body of the craft, they feel, was 30 feet. John Lennon had a UFO sighting which occurred when he was with his personal secretary, May Pang, in New York. As May Pang recounts in her book, the "large, circular object [was] coming towards us. It was shaped like a flattened cone and on top was a large, brilliant red light... When it came a little closer, we could make out a row or circle of white lights that ran around the entire rim of the craft." View full report
