"We then thought it was a blimp, until it was just north of us and noticed it's size. Although we couldn't see an exact outline we knew it was very long as we watched the stars disappear from the sky as it passed between the lights. The craft we estimate to be as long as an aircraft carrier and was making no noise except for a very low hum." View full report
"I took this photograph while driving through the Salt River Canyon (between Globe and Show Low) on Arizona State Route 60. We were approaching the bridge at the bottom of the canyon. I did not see the object in the sky. It only became visible when I downloaded the images onto my computer." View full report
"This took place in Jersey City, New Jersey. I had pulled over off the highway to buy some fruits at a very isolated fruit stand/store and I snapped a picture of this warehouse in the lot. I did not even see it [the object]when I took the picture... It was a few weeks later when i was cleaning out the flash card that it caught my eye." " View full report
There was something odd in the sky last week, something that caused a Navy veteran with 10,000 hours of flight experience to have his own close encounter. While preparing to mow his lawn, "David" saw a large cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky. He said it was about the size of two USS Nimitz aircraft carriers. View full report
"They were dark oblong shapes with some lights. Nothing bright and we didn't hear any noise. They didn't move for several minutes so I was able to take a few pictures. When they left they just floated away slowly." View full report
"While driving with my wife to the store she noticed something in the sky and realized it was oddly shaped (cylindrical) and moving in an intelligent manner... I had never seen a craft move so oddly (against the wind, stopping, moving again and then finally moving up through the upper clouds and disappearing completely." View full report
"I saw an immense triangular object... I can tell you [and compare it] to the size of a ball park or two enormous ball parks. It was going very slowly and passed directly over me... It made no noise whatsoever and was going slowly, very slowly, and thats when the van's engine and lights went out completely... I managed to capture the craft and photograph it. View full report
Perfect black triangle with 9 orange/yellowish lights on two sides of triangle, one on tip four following each leading edge, with none on stern/back end of triangle. The craft made barely, if any noise, and seemed to be defying the laws of gravity and aviation as it was floating and banking left View full report
An orange streak, which disappeared five minutes or so after first being spotted, followed by two points of light. The primary point continued to the North for another 5 minutes or so before exploding into a bright white ball of light with a seemingly large circumference. View full report
Witness viewed "an object apparently some 100m away and looking to be just a meter above the roadside house. The pear shaped object had a flashing blue light on the right bottom side. The body of the object seemed to have metallic patterns or symbols on it, whilst above there were two black areas, possibly windows. The object which was still moving very slowly left looked to be a bit bigger than a car." View full report
The luminous spheres during the storm were described as a "very large object hovering over a nearby house about an 1/8 of a mile from our house. It was larger than the house, seemed to be at an angle to her view with the bottom exposed and had lights all around it evenly spaced." View full report
"It started out as a bright star in the South East corner, appearing larger with speed towards me, as I drove up to a lighted area, the unknown object lifted up into the sky and I saw a light grey, flat triangle bottom, with 3 lights one in each corner as it glided without any sound toward the North." Lockheed Martin software engineer, Frank Griffin, was in his backyard looking at the stars the evening of Feb. 9 when a black triangle hovering overhead caught his eye. The black triangle was at a low altitude, maybe 500 to 800 feet, with no lights, he said. View full report
"We noticed a very large, brightly lit craft flying low above the tree line. It was flying extremely slow in a straight line from east to west. It continued low above the main street and suddenly stopped. It hovered for perhaps a minute or less, then seemed to change direction and slowly descend, from left to right, in a vertical slant." "When the object was near overhead, I was able to make out its shape against the sky despite the fact that both sky and object were dark. It was roughly oval or egg shaped, but had a pylon or similiar structure on either side of it." View full report
"It stayed completely still for a bit, and then it started to rise back up in the sky toward the east. When it moved it had a brilliant tail of light that followed it. It had a very bright light on its tip . The two base corners had dimmer lights, one of which seemed to be turned off. It made no noise, and was fairly close so I should have heard something if it was an aircraft." View full report
