Four UFO sightings occur in Elk River area of Minnesota

Since a woman told police that she spotted a UFO in her Elk River neighborhood, three more sightings of UFOs in the Elk River area occurred in mid-September, 1992. One man in Albertville saw a saucer-shaped object, 5-6 feet across. Then, a person who works for him, Terry Townsend, saw a UFO the size of a passenger jet that was ringed with lights. "It was only a meter or so in length. It was also shaped like the quintessential image of a UFO, a round flat disc with a small dome on the top. In 1993 Dr. Steven Greer, director of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), led a Rapid Mobilization Investigative Team (RMIT) to Mexico to study the ongoing wave of UFO sightings there. Two police officers have dogfight with UFO during helicopter patrol
February, 27, 1993 - Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States
Two Jefferson County air unit police officers — described by their lieutenant as "solid guys" — swear they had a two-minute dogfight with a UFO during a routine helicopter patrol Friday night. Two officers on the ground said they, too, spotted the object. The UFO — a glowing pear-shaped object about the size of a basketball — literally flew circles around the helicopter, even though the fliers say they were moving at speeds approaching 100 mph. Round object with rotating lights around edge

"I saw an round flying object in plain view in the night sky around 2am. It was close enough to see round lights around the edges and the lights were rotating in one direction. The ufo was traveling at a low speed and close enough to notice it was not a human made object. There was no engine noise." View full report
