David and Susan McMurray were driving home across Bagshot Heath, Surrey, to Famborough, Hampshire, with their two children when they encountered a "huge saucer-like craft about 50ft. long with brilliant lights coming from portholes around the centre. A woman driver who prefers to remain anonymous was driving home to Orsundsbro from Uppsala (Sweden) on route 55. After one mile, she saw two policecars blinking bluish lights, or so she thought. Later she saw the object again. It appeared larger than an ordinary helicopter. It had three lighted windows and a blindingly strong white light. Arthur Schindler and his wife, Eva, had just returned from Lenten services at St. Paul Church, when he saw a light in the sky. He watched the object for more than an hour. "It looks like a huge dish with two sets of yellow lights around the rim. On top of the dish, it looks like a castle. Kind of like a pyramid. There are lights all over it. Three children were camping in their Redwood Valley backyard when they heard a "whoosh" and saw a bright light. The flying "ball of fire" made three circles above their yard. A large, low-flying cigar-shaped object with white lights shining from a row of "windows" and bearing green-blue and white "running lights" was sighted by a West Los Angeles resident on the night of April 19, 1981 at about 11:30 p.m. Taff estimated the object, which made no sound, was about 65 feet in length and about 15 feet high. Italian Reinhold Messner, one of the world's foremost mountaineers, said Friday he watched a UFO "the size of a full moon" for nearly three hours while climbing in the Himalayas. On his return to Katmandu after an unsuccessful attempt on 24,248-foot Mount Chamlang, he said he spotted the UFO as it drifted south into Nepal from Tibet over the mighty snowcapped mountains. At least ten people in Corona, Queens, said they saw a bell-shaped UFO with flashing multi-colored lights making a beeping noise on Sept. 5, 1981, at 10:00 p.m. Reportedly, as the UFO hovered over a tenement block, a triangular-shaped ray of green light shot out from the bottom of the object and shone on the face of a teen-aged girl observing the object from the window of her friend's house. In March 1979, Pat Eudy was driving home when he saw a bright light in the sky, after which his memory went blank, leaving a "missing time" of about three hours. A session with a psychologist allowed Eudy to reconstruct what happened. "[I remember being on] board (a UFO) and seeing an astronaut in a suit," Eudy said. The being stood about 5 feet tall..." Mr. and Mrs. Thew were returning to Temuka (New Zealand) from Pleasant Point with their three daughters when a multi-coloured flying object paced them along the Waitohi Road in the early hours of the morning of July 12, 1981, approaching to within 120 yards of their car and changing colours as it went. My wife and I were sitting on the back porch and saw a rather large bright object in the south-eastern sky. Looking through 7x50 field glasses [binoculars], we could easily make out an object that had 5 large retangular windows, with a "man" standing inside. . The sighting occurred in the fall of 1971 in Florence, SC. Around dusk one evening the witness went out to the backyard and watched as a large, black triangular craft was passing directly overhead. It was about 300 ft across from tip to tip and about half that distance from front tip to the rear. It was perfectly silent. The four witnesses had gone out in their boat to the middle of the lake, when they noticed a strange light that apeared as a flaming ball, orange and red with flames licking upward then like tongues of fire vanishing over the ball. The witness was driving home after a high school football game when he saw an enormous rectangular "aircraft" hovering above a golf course at close range. The craft gave off an incredible amount of white light. It was just above treetops (maples) within 600 yards, and had an estimated size of 150 to 200 feet long. No sound was heard. Three people were on a beach at Almunécar, in South Spain, at around 2 a.m., when they saw a triangular flying object, with a kind of bright "V" ( 2 of them) in the direction on the flight - just like two boomerangs fliying one behind each other, with the peak fordwards. "Discs were white looking. The discs were not bright, but rather dull white appearance. They definitely were not lights. The outstanding observation of the white discs was that they all had some size, and were perfectly placed between each other and in front of each other, making a perfect triangle (in inverted Christmas tree)." On a warm summer night, four witnesses were lying on the banks of the Isar River when they saw three multicolured lights with a triangle dark shadow between the edges hovering in the sky from west to east. The sides of the object (the distances between the lights) were 30 or 40 meters in length. The object was flying at low speed and there was absolutely no noise at all. View full report
A series of photographs was taken during an encounter with a metallic object by multiple witnesses near Zdany, Poland, in January 2006. Two men were returning from a wedding party when they spotted an object flying across the road. A moment later their car engine stopped, as well as the engine of another car behind them. One of the witnesses took a series of photographs. The encounter lasted at least 8 minutes, after which the car engines started with no problems. View full report
Black triangular UFO seen hovering above the motorway by four passengers in a car, in Stirling, Scotland in 1997. The object had a small rectangular "bar" at one apex. The object was an equliateral (or very close) triangle with sides of possibly 30 to 40ft. The sighting took place on the M9 (M80) motorway near Stirling in Scotland, a very rural area of Scotland. The witness, who was an employee at a TV station, saw a "UFO in broad daylight hovering on top of the [TV] tower, [and then] ran back inside the station to get the news director, Mr. Bill Fields." The craft was metallic, round, with a round cupola on top of the craft. It was about 100 feet across and about 25 feet tall. The encounter lasted for more than four hours, during which the object moved and stopped a couple of times before shooting off at "blinding speed." View full report
At 3 AM on Sept. 15, 1998, witness Chris Rock stepped outside and fired his laser pointer into the sky toward west-southwest in the general direction of Jupiter. Within a minute or two, a gray, spherical object, with an apparent 7" diameter at arm's length appeared in the western sky, hovering over an adjacent building at a (measured) distance of 260 feet from the witness and 40 feet above the ground. In the early morning hours of 21 November, 2003, Robert Williams and his mother Christine Williams, observed an extremely bright light hovering over Bennett Lake at an altitude of about 50-60 feet. As the object approached to within 250-300 yards of the witnesses, the intense white light began to dim, and both witnesses were able to make out a defined structure. They agreed that the object had a definite "frisbee" shape, and was complete with individual white lights around the perimeter. View full report
Large, low flying , silent and slow inverted trapezoid witnessed by two other people that I know of (who chased it in a car through Stoke village) as well as two other members of my family. [It had] lit up windows on it and it was apparently following a Dash 7 commercial airplane on route to land at Plymouth airport. The local paper the next day reported that a couple of women in a car had also observed this object and attempted to follow it as far as they could in their vehicle. View full report
