"It was about 75 to 150 feet above us and completely still... I got out of the car to have a closer look... It was large and had what appeared to be four wings like in a cross. I estimate the size at about 60 feet across. Each wing would be 20 feet and the centre canopy was also about 20 feet and glowing red." View full report
From the witness: "I observed an aircraft, approx. 150-200ft above ground level and approx 300-500ft slant range from my location. It was rolling out of a right bank and the streetlights were illuminating it enough so that I could see a distinct silhouette of the fuselage and the underbelly. This object appeared to be the same color as the night sky, flat black or dark gray. There were no lights, no exhaust flames and no engine noise... just absolute silence!" View full report
Two brothers age 11 and 13 were sitting in their living room. While watching television, something caught the attention of the younger gentleman's eye. He was shocked to see an orange cigar shape with a yellow centre as depicted by his drawing below. The edges were well defined and there was a soft orange glow emanating around the object. The object was then at its closest point to us. It had a large bright light at either end, with 4 Possibly 5 smaller lights in between. At either end, behind the large lights there were very small red and blue lights that were not easily visible. These smaller lights looked like portholes. The large light on the leading end went out and there was a dimmer light coming from inside, similar to an interior light of a car shining out the windscreen. View full report
On September 16, 1996 in the 5 hour old neighbourhoods, the witness in his car observes an ovoid [oval-shaped] machine [object] with three port-holes emitting a strong orange light. The object is stationary at an altitude of 30 to 40 meters and between 300 and 400 meters from the road. The somewhat frightened witness continues on the road and subsequently observes two identical objects higher in the sky. The objects observed were dark and their size estimated at ten meters length. No explanation was found with this close observation. View full report
"Craning my neck to see the craft as it passed slowly directly over my head at an estimated altitude of less than 500 feet, I could see it was a gigantic black triangle. There is no other way to describe it because that's precisely what it was; a huge, black, triangle." View full report
"I saw an round flying object in plain view in the night sky around 2am. It was close enough to see round lights around the edges and the lights were rotating in one direction. The ufo was traveling at a low speed and close enough to notice it was not a human made object. There was no engine noise." View full report
"Through the bedroom window, we saw a bright round shining object stationary at a height of some 10 metres or so above the birch trees to the east... it was now immediately quite clear to me that I was looking at an unknown flying object... we could see its shape absolutely clearly." Two Jefferson County air unit police officers — described by their lieutenant as "solid guys" — swear they had a two-minute dogfight with a UFO during a routine helicopter patrol Friday night. Two officers on the ground said they, too, spotted the object. The UFO — a glowing pear-shaped object about the size of a basketball — literally flew circles around the helicopter, even though the fliers say they were moving at speeds approaching 100 mph. "It was only a meter or so in length. It was also shaped like the quintessential image of a UFO, a round flat disc with a small dome on the top. So ludicrously like something you'd see in a looney tune cartoon i felt like an idiot telling my friends what I had seen, and indeed none believed me." View full report
In 1993 Dr. Steven Greer, director of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), led a Rapid Mobilization Investigative Team (RMIT) to Mexico to study the ongoing wave of UFO sightings there. A large triangular shaped craft with a white light at each corner and a red beacon in the center was observed. View full report
Since a woman told police that she spotted a UFO in her Elk River neighborhood, three more sightings of UFOs in the Elk River area occurred in mid-September, 1992. One man in Albertville saw a saucer-shaped object, 5-6 feet across. Then, a person who works for him, Terry Townsend, saw a UFO the size of a passenger jet that was ringed with lights. And a cab driver witnessed a UFO with 10 porthole-type lights. View full report
Three people were on a beach at Almunécar, in South Spain, at around 2 a.m., when they saw a triangular flying object, with a kind of bright "V" ( 2 of them) in the direction on the flight - just like two boomerangs fliying one behind each other, with the peak fordwards. It flew over their heads, without a sound, and disappeared with a "shining". The sighting lasted for about 10 seconds. View full report
A soundless flying triangle was observed near Hamburg, by the amateur astronomer Gutschke when he looked at the sky to observe the stars. The 70 meters long triangle was surrounded by a luminous dust. In the three corners there were pinkish luminous rings. The altitude was approximately 300 meters. In about 8 seconds the triangle moved from the zenith to the horizon, in the direction of the city of Hamburg, where it vanished in the dust. View full report
"My wife and I observed a very large, dark triangle (arrowhead shaped) flying low from east to west. It was completely silent. We counted seven (7) circular white lights on the underside. The triangle craft was moving at a high rate of speed, surrounded by a white haze." View full report
In November, 1986, a Japanese crew of a jumbo freighter aircraft witnessed three unidentified objects while flying over Alaska, USA. This sighting gained international attention when the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that it was going to officially investigate this sighting because the Air Route Traffic Control Center in Anchorage, Alaska, had reported that the UFO had been detected on radar. The UFOs in this case were tracked on both ground and airborne radar, witnessed by experienced airline pilots, and confirmed by a FAA Division Chief. View full report
A woman driver who prefers to remain anonymous was driving home to Orsundsbro from Uppsala (Sweden) on route 55. After one mile, she saw two policecars blinking bluish lights, or so she thought. Later she saw the object again. It appeared larger than an ordinary helicopter. It had three lighted windows and a blindingly strong white light. It had been seven to eight minutes since she first saw the object. View full report
Three women were driving to a high school basketball game, when they noticed a bright object in the night sky. They described it as basically oblong in shape, with an extremely bright white light at the front end. There seemed to be a sphere or halo of a grayish-bluish hue around the middle of the object, and lots of tiny flashing lights at the rear. One of these, a. small white light, was stationary for a while but suddenly detached itself from the rest of the lights and sped rapidly away. View full report
Arthur Schindler and his wife, Eva, had just returned from Lenten services at St. Paul Church, when he saw a light in the sky. He watched the object for more than an hour. "It looks like a huge dish with two sets of yellow lights around the rim. On top of the dish, it looks like a castle. Kind of like a pyramid. There are lights all over it. The blue and white beams shoot out from the front of it." View full report
On a warm summer night, four witnesses were lying on the banks of the Isar River when they saw three multicolured lights with a triangle dark shadow between the edges hovering in the sky from west to east. The sides of the object (the distances between the lights) were 30 or 40 meters in length. The object was flying at low speed and there was absolutely no noise at all. View full report
The following is the UFO Report of Alexander G. Globa, a Russian sailor and engineer, who observed a UFO over the Mediterranean Sea at close quarters through binoculars in June 1984. This report was included in a declassified CIA UFO File on Soviet UFO sightings. The UFO reminded him of 'an upside-down frying pan' and had a grayish metallic shine. The lower portion of the craft had a precise round shape, its diameter no more than twenty meters. Many lights illuminated its bottom portion. View full report
Large, low flying , silent and slow inverted trapezoid witnessed by two other people that I know of (who chased it in a car through Stoke village) as well as two other members of my family. [It had] lit up windows on it and it was apparently following a Dash 7 commercial airplane on route to land at Plymouth airport. The local paper the next day reported that a couple of women in a car had also observed this object and attempted to follow it as far as they could in their vehicle. View full report
Several 15-17 year olds were at a discotheque in the town of Messel, when they saw outside a steel blue luminous disk with a dome on top which appeared over the woods about 600 meters from where they where standing. It slowly approached the witnesses at very low altitude, a distance of about 100 meters. Its diameter was about 10 meters wide. After a few seconds the disc started to move in spiral curves down to the ground; it stopped for a moment before it flew away at a steep upward angle. View full report
