A woman driver who prefers to remain anonymous was driving home to Orsundsbro from Uppsala (Sweden) on route 55. After one mile, she saw two policecars blinking bluish lights, or so she thought. Three women were driving to a high school basketball game, when they noticed a bright object in the night sky. They described it as basically oblong in shape, with an extremely bright white light at the front end. There seemed to be a sphere or halo of a grayish-bluish hue around the middle of the object, and lots of tiny flashing lights at the rear. "It looks like a huge dish with two sets of yellow lights around the rim. On top of the dish, it looks like a castle. Kind of like a pyramid. There are lights all over it. On a warm summer night, four witnesses were lying on the banks of the Isar River when they saw three multicolured lights with a triangle dark shadow between the edges hovering in the sky from west to east. Alfred Burtoo was fishing along an isolated canal when a disc-shaped UFO landed nearby. The beings were humanoid, 4'6" tall, dressed in green overalls and wore helmets with visors. The beings gestured at the witness to follow them and he went up a stairway into the craft. He was made to stand under an amber light. Large, low flying , silent and slow inverted trapezoid witnessed by two other people that I know of (who chased it in a car through Stoke village) as well as two other members of my family. [It had] lit up windows on it and it was apparently following a Dash 7 commercial airplane on route to land at Plymouth airport. At least ten people in Corona, Queens, said they saw a bell-shaped UFO with flashing multi-colored lights making a beeping noise on Sept. 5, 1981, at 10:00 p.m. Reportedly, as the UFO hovered over a tenement block, a triangular-shaped ray of green light shot out from the bottom of the object and shone on the face of a teen-aged girl observing the object from the window of her friend's house. At least seven persons spotted an unidentified flying object over Texomaland last Wednesday morning. Jim Shelton, mechanic at Jim Graham International, described the sighting and drew a sketch. "It was a flying object with lit portholes. Fire was streaming in sparks from the rear, and it had green and yellow pulsating lights," he said. "It was real. Police officer Alan Godfrey was on routine patrol when he encountered a metallic disc with a dome and a row of windows. Suddenly, there was a burst of light, and he found himself 100 yards farther down the road, and the UFO was gone. Under hypnosis later, Godfrey recalled being struck by a beam of light which floated him into the craft, and meeting a human-like being named Joseph, whose clothing was very Biblical in nature. At 4:30 a.m., a lonely police patrol car was driving on a remote country road along the Cononley Moor. In the car were Sgt. Anthony Dodd and Constable Alan Dale. They saw a bright white light that seemed to be diving towards them in a glide. a big shining disc which flew over their heads at a speed of about 40 mph. A woman from Grandes Rocques awoke in the early morning hours and saw a bright golden light, going very slowly. The circular object was in her view for around 20 minutes before it vanished from her sight, allowing Mrs Wilson to get a good look at it. 'It stopped quite often, and just hung in the air. Burton Woods, 45, of Morgan Run, PA, said he saw a craft hovering over a field near his mobile home. Woods suffered from headaches and blurred vision after the sighting. Much excitement was stirred by his UFO encounter, since he was able to get so close to the craft before it veered up and out of sight. The object was described as 170-200 feet in length.
