Man taken into craft, encounter with 3 beings

Carlos Alberto Diaz, a clerk in a central store, was walking home from work, when he was paralyzed after being blinded by a brilliant flash of light. Trying to resist, he was pulled off the ground and when about 3 meters off the ground he became unconscious... Chilean Navy ship encounters large UFO; tracked on radar

The incident involved a Chilean Naval destroyer and was witnessed by crew members and the commander of the vessel. Up to six UFOs, including one large object, were observed. The objects were verified on radar and observed visually. As the main object moved over the ship, the vessel's power went out." View full report

Terrified witnesses observe near-landing of UFO

July, 30, 1968 - Claremont, New Hampshire, United States

A manufacturing plant worker was carrying two buckets of water toward his garden when he saw "a bright round object float in a gentle arc low in the sky to the northeast." It looked like a full moon but was at an extremely low altitude. Shortly thereafter and just two miles away, a land surveyor and his wife witnessed a dome-shaped object. It was about 20 feet wide and hovered approximately 10 feet above the ground, and was 230 feet away. View full report

"Mr. Guseman rolled down his left window and he and his wife studied the object more closely. It was disc-shaped with a kind of cupola under the main body. Its width was estimated at about 50 feet and its height at about 20 feet at the thickest point. Except for the top, the object was clearly visible, a dark gray silhouette against the lighter sky." From the witness: "He looked up and a round craft was directly over him at around 100 ft. in the air. It was not very large in size, completely circular, and had green lights, red lights and some yellowish lights on the bottom. There seemed to be some sort of lines in the bottom, like spokes in a wheel look. It was making a low humming sound that resonated. It was almost pitch dark so he couldn't see the color of the craft. "On two consecutive nights, April 18/19 and 19/20, there were at least 6 reports. About midnight on the 18th, Mr. and Mrs. George May of Sharon were arriving home when they saw an egg-shaped object descend and hover about 500 feet above an open field adjoining their property. One of the most dramatic encounters by police officers with an apparently structured, low-level UFO. Officers chased the object for eighty-five miles, as it seemed to play a cat-and-mouse game with them. This case was the basis for the UFO "chase" in the film 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind.' Jeno Udvardy, a 1956 Hungarian refugee, was driving home from a late work shift near Vicksburg, Michigan. When he reached the crest of a hill he saw a cluster of lights on the road. Canadian Navy seaman witnesses object on beach

November, 30, 1965 - Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, Canada

Seaman Ian Kinsey, of Her Majesty's Coastal Service, was on his 2-4 a.m. watch at the Cornwallis station. When he looked out towards the shoreline, he saw a sharply oval, yellow object resting on the beach. The UFO was "lit up," but not glaring. Five minutes later a sliding door on the object's side opened and a smaller, cigarette-shaped UFO entered the larger object through the door. A similar sighting took place a few hours before in Springhill, about 125 miles from Cornwallis. View full report

Mrs. Moreland saw a sharply- outlined saucer-shaped object with two extremely bright sources of green light on the underside. The object was approximately 20 to 30 feet wide and hovered at roof-top level, about 15 feet above the ground. Multiple witnesses observe saucer above road in 1955, UK

July, 17, 1955 - Bexley, United Kingdom

It was July 17, 1955 when Margaret Fry spotted the object as she was making her way to her GP's surgery in King Harold's Way from her home in Hythe Avenue. Mrs Fry described it as saucer shaped with a "blue/silver/grey/pewter texture, yet none of those colours". She said it had three spheres set into its base, one of which "flopped out", landing on the ground at the junction of nearby Ashbourne and Whitfield roads. View full report

UFO with occupants encountered by former mayor in Hasselbach, Germany

July, 9, 1952 - Hasselbach, Germany

Oscar Linke, former Wehrmacht major, and his daughter Gabrielle, 11, had to leave their motorcycle when they had a flat tire. Inside the woods the girl noticed two men in silvery suits examining the ground in a clearing near a pink disk-shaped object, 13-15 meters in diameter, showing a double row of openings around the rim and a black turret on top. One of the men had a flashing box. Both men went inside, and the disk vibrated, rose along the turretlike cylinder, then spun faster and rose out of sight. View full report

Udo Wartena Contact Case in 1940

May, 1940 - Boulder Mountain, Montana, United States

At an isolated location miner Udo Wartena saw a large disc shaped object about 35 foot high and over 100 feet across hovering above a meadow. The object resembled two soup plates, one inverted over the other and stainless steel in appearance. Wartena then saw a staircase unfold from the bottom of the craft. Out of it came a man who asked him if the ship could take some water. The man then invited Wartena inside the object. Wartena accepted and met another man inside that told him they had come from a distant planet and were 609 years old. View full report
