Witnesses saw a 30 to 40ft diameter saucer, hovering about 200 ft off the ground! . It was a classic disc shape with a dome on top. Chinese Air Force pilot chases 'mushroom-shaped' UFO

The [Chinese] air force had a prolonged up-close encounter with a UFO last month that one fighter pilot described as "just like ones in foreign movies," a government-controlled newspaper reported Thursday. The witness "went outdoors for a look and there out over her septic field about 50 meters away this object hovering just a meter or two above the ground. It was a pale, pale green, almost white and had a bright glow to it. It was about the diameter of a frisbee and about 10 centimetres (4 inches) thick. When it flew by her deck, she estimated it to be travelling slightly slower than a thrown frisbee. She continued to watch the object for about 20 minutes just hovering back and forth." On September 12, 1996 around 8 p.m., a mother and her daughter in their car observe an object made up of an ovoid [oval-shaped] skirt [?] and a surmounted cylinder on a dome with three lights (port-holes?) sharp red. On the cylinder, a fluorescent green light turned like a gyrophare [?]. The object, silent, was suspended 4 meters off the ground and approximately ten meters from the road. A 24-year-old man was driving to visit his parents in Vejle in Jutland, Denmark, when he experienced a dramatic stopping of his car when a disc-shaped UFO with a powerful light hovered over his vehicle. The object was only 3-4 meters above the car, and he could see a number of circular lamps on the underside. After a short time the intensity of the light from the UFO diminished, and it slowly moved away and out of sight; he was able to start the car again normally. View full report

Large disc-shaped object observed by two witnesses in Connecticut

The witnesses (husband and wife) were driving back from fishing at a quarry in Harwinton when they observed a large metallic disk about 500 feet in diameter at an altitude of about 200 feet, from a distance of about a half mile, during daytime. When a local farmer from Groot Marico in the western Transvaal plains region first observed the saucer-shaped object on Thursday morning, he noticed that it had a distinctly visible hole in its hull. The farmer, Mr. Jan Pienaar (45), is of the opinion that this "vehicle" landed on a remote country road between Coligny and Brakspruit to have its damaged hull repaired.
